New Season Update

We have had a great response from existing members and a lot of interest from new members all looking forward to the new season which starts on Tuesday.

The committee would like to remind all members of a few important points regarding fishing our club waters this season.

  • There are currently only two fields that are available to fish around Thame.  The land owners have asked us not to fish in the paddock field and the laundry field.  These are the two fields downstream from the Esso station which have peg numbers 34 to 47.  Weare in constant touch with the land owners and we hope that we will be able to open up the fishing in these fields very soonIn the meantime, please do not enter these fields as any contravention of this rule could lead to us losing the fishing rights for the future.
  • The other two fields are open to all and a lot of work has been done to improve the access to the river.  These are upstream of the Esso Station and downstream of the OLD Crendon Road.  Please respect the current guidelines regarding social distancing on all our waters.
  • If you want to fish at Nuneham Courtenay please remember that you must book in with Ian Horrocks (Tel No is on your permit) before your visit.
  • Please note that you must carry your club permit with you at all times.  This is very important at Nuneham Courtenay as you are now required to leave your permit on the dashboard of your car when you fish here.

We wish you all a great seasons fishing.
